PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR FINANCE APPLICANTS

If you’re thinking of signing up or you’ve already signed up to WANNME, this information is of interest to you:

2. For what purposes do we process your data?

WANNME will process your personal data to manage the finance applications you submit from your user area and will get in touch with the financial institutions of your choice, which will assess your finance application.

If your personal data has been provided by a third party you have authorised (usually a merchant or professional) requesting that we send you an invitation, your data will be used for the purpose of sending you an invitation for you to join WANNME. In the event that you apply for finance linked to a merchant or collaborator signed up to WANNME, we’ll use the necessary data to notify the third party if the finance application gets approved. However, once you’ve signed up to WANNME, your data will be processed as described below.

Certain financial institutions to which you apply for finance may provide us with the relevant finance agreement that you must sign with them. You may electronically sign this through WANNME. In this case, your data will be used for the purpose of accessing the electronic signature platform and processing the signature.

We hereby inform you that your personal data will be processed for automated decision-making and profiling for the purpose of showing you only offers from financial institutions with which you may contract, based on the data you have provided to meet the parameters set by them to approve your finance application.

We’ll also use your contact details to keep you informed of WANNME’s new products and services. If you give your consent, we’ll send you our newsletter, which may contain advertising from third parties in the financial sector. In order to avoid sending any unwanted advertising, WANNME will check the relevant Robinson lists.

WANNME may process your personal data related to the engagement of a service or product from financial institutions, for the purpose of fulfilling the contractual relationship binding us to them.

We would also like to inform you that WANNME will anonymise your data for statistical use.

3. How long will we keep your personal data?

We will process your personal data as long as you keep your user active. Once you delete your account, your data will be stored for the time necessary to defend against any possible claims and to comply with any legal obligations that may arise.

Any user accounts that remain inactive for five years will automatically be deleted.

4. What if the data belongs to a minor?

Our services are aimed at legal adults, which is why minors are not allowed to sign up to WANNME. In any case, if any parents or legal representatives believe that your children or wards have sent us personal data, we kindly ask you to contact us by sending an email to privacy@wannme.com

5. What is the lawful basis for the processing of your personal data?

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you gave us by signing up to the platform and authorising WANNME to process your data, in furtherance of the general terms and conditions governing our relationship and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.

We will also need your consent in connection with the finance applications you submit, before sending them to the financial institutions of your choice for you to authorise the processing of your data by them.

You may opt in to our newsletter at any time, so sending it will be done on the basis of your consent.

Once you’ve signed up, we may also process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest to send you information on our products and services.

6. With whom will we share your data?

To manage your finance applications and contact the financial institutions, it is necessary for us to provide them with the details of your application so they can determine whether it’s financially viable and send WANNME the outcome and the terms and conditions. To this end, the financial institutions may give you a score based on your details and check information on your creditworthiness. For more information, below is a list of the financial institutions with which we work, and a link where you can find out how each of them will process your data as an applicant:

In the event that you use WANNME to process the signing of the agreement, we hereby inform you that we will disclose your data to the company that manages the electronic signature platform.

Whenever you finance any payment for goods or services from our registered merchants or professionals through WANNME, we’ll notify them of the minimum information through their WANNME space so that they are aware of such financing.

We hereby inform you that your data will also be disclosed to service providers that act as data processors.

No international transfers of data outside the EU are foreseen.

7. What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data?

If we process your data, you should know that you have the following rights:

  • Right to request access to personal data: you can ask whether WANNME is processing your data, and if so, you can access it.
  • Right to request rectification if any data is inaccurate or to complete any data that is incomplete.
  • Right to request the erasure of your data.
  • Right to request the restriction of its processing: in this case, WANNME will only keep your data for the exercise or defence of any claims.
  • Right to object to processing: we’ll stop processing personal data, except when we have to continue processing it due to legitimate reasons or for the exercise or defence of any possible claims.
  • Right to data portability: in case you want your data to be processed by another controller, we’ll facilitate the transfer of your data to the new controller.
  • Right not to be subject to a decision solely based on the automated processing of your personal data.

At WANNME, we process data on the basis of consent and you should know that you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of any processing done prior to the withdrawal of your consent.

8. How did we obtain your data?

If you signed up to WANNME without receiving an invitation, the data we’ll process will be data that you provided us with when signing up and providing data and documentation in your profile.

If you received an invitation to sign up to WANNME, the professional or merchant that shared your personal data with us to invite you to WANNME will appear on the invitation. They will have previously obtained your consent for this. This happens when the professional or merchant has a pre-contractual or contractual relationship with you and proposes WANNME as a suitable means to request financing for the payment of products or services.

9. Modifications

We’ll only use your personal data as set out in the version of this document which is in force when we collect your information. In the event that WANNME makes a change to the processing of your data, you will be notified of it in a timely manner.

If you’re a professional or a merchant and you’re thinking of signing up or you’ve already signed up to WANNME in order to offer financing options to your customers for the payment of products and services you have provided them, this information is of interest to you:

To register as a merchant, you’ll have to sign up to WANNME. From the moment you sign up and provide us with your data until you complete your registration by signing the professional collaboration agreement, WANNME will process your personal data according to the information shown here. Once you’ve signed the professional collaboration agreement, your relationship with WANNME, particularly the processing of your data, will also be governed by the terms and conditions of the agreement.
